Programming: Beginner bonsai workshop for active-duty military and veterans

We need to staff our booth during all hours of the show, which includes the following days and hours.
Saturday, March 1, 2025 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Sunday March 2, 2025 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Friday March 7, 2025 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, March 8, 2025 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, March 9, 2025 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

To help ensure coverage for all hours of the show, I divided the days down into 4 or 5 hour blocks. I welcome you to signup for multiple blocks and I know someone of you will plan to spend an entire day at the show. That would be awesome! However, I would still like to track slots to ensure coverage for all hours.

Although I only created 5 slots for each time slot, you are welcome to come or stay for any additional time slot for which you have not signed up.

Finally, I encourage each volunteer to bring a few of your trees to display at the show. You may also want to bring a tree to work on during any slow hours.

The raft style (ikadabuki in Japanese), where a tree is laid on its side, and branches develop upward as individual trunks.

🌿 Bonsai Workshops with Bob Mahler from Kifu Bonsai 🌿

This workshop is for you to bring a few of your trees and sit with Bob to discuss care and styling. Bob will spend time with each participant to help you elevate your bonsai trees to the next level. I know that we have a lot of new members so I want to say that while beginners are welcome to register, you must have material to work on during the workshop. For example, if you bring only one or two very young trees, you may not get the value you desire out of this workshop.
